The red banner is great for letting us know when a new version has been released, but then we have to go to our own bookmarks or google or whatever to find the latest release notes, update instructions, download link, etc. What would be excellent would be a clickable link on that opens a new browser window to take the user to the releases tab on github. In fact, I might pop that in a quick script injection until it's a feature...
