The extra click of having to prompt page selection after select "page" as target type is added friction when it is the only available action.

Page selection should auto open upon selecting page as target type.

I'm not sure what are you talking about. Navigation bar? When the folder contains only one page, then it probably should be chosen automatically. Or there could be an auto-choose-single-pages option.
