I would like to see the ability to add some kind of widget/special item on the starting page, that would display recently changed articles/entries. That would be very helpful.

In my team we like to see what entries on the wiki were changed lately. I believe that there are many people like that. Something similar to what Confluence offers, something like a list of latest commits in Git.
