It would be great if username and password are sent to new users (users which are added through the "Settings" page).

As I see it is not implemented yet. Looking forward to it!

I would also discourage from sending passwords in plain text, but provide means to reset a password via email.

This does not mean a welcoming message must be avoided to onboard users.

Usually passwords are not sent, but a way to set password like an invitation with unique token would be nice
