However, I think the solution is not user friendly or intuitive, being able to see the symbol on the far right (far away from the text of most headings) is difficult and a lay-person wouldn't know to right-click and copy the link on that to get the heading link they desire.

I think a better solution would be to have the current page navigation panel to be hyperlinks to the various headings. This way users can easily right-click on the heading item they want from the left and get a link, or just click the link and then copy from the URL bar directly.

To clarify I'm referring to the in-page navigation panel, not the site navigation panel on the far-left.
